Bacteria is a family of single celled microbes. With a simpler cell structure than most other organisms, these microbes are branded into five different groups on the basis of their shapes. They do not have a nucleus or a membrane bound organelle. They have their control centre arranged in nothing but a single loop of DNA. The process of microbial reproduction is what is called binary fission. A bacterium divides itself into two identical cells. The process kickstarts once the DNA of the bacterium replicates itself into two. With multiple DNA strands, the replication technique takes more time and gets more complicated. Although, with just a single stand of DNA, replication is fairly easier and faster. This is the process that is known as microbial replication.
