Me Vs Myself - 05

Images | English

Me is a personal pronoun that refers to the speaker's own identity. It's an objective pronoun, to be precise. In sentences, I perform the role of an object. Myself is a pronoun that also refers to the speaker, but it is a different type of pronoun than me. Myself is a reflexive pronoun, which means it is used in a self-referential manner by the speaker or writer. In other words, when the speaker both performs and receives the verb's action, the word myself is used. Choose me in most cases when the speaker is the object of a verb but not the subject. Choose myself when the speaker is both the subject and the object of a verb. This should be a simple rule to remember because both myself and subject begin with the letter S.
