1971-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ അഗ്നിമൃഗം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാളം ഗാനമാണ് “മരുന്നോ നല്ല മരുന്ന്”. പിന്നണി ഗായകൻ ഗാനഗന്ധർവൻ കെ ജെ യേശുദാസും കോറസും ചേർന്നാണ് ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത്. വയലാർ രാമവർമയാണ് ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ വരികൾ എഴുതിയത്. സംഗീത സംവിധായകൻ ജി ദേവരാജൻ മനോഹരമായി ഈ ഗാനം ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ചലച്ചിത്ര അഭിനേതാക്കളായ പ്രേംനസീർ, ഷീല, സത്യൻ, അടൂർ ഭാസി, കെ പി ഉമ്മർ എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. എം കൃഷ്ണൻ നായരാണ് ഈ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത്.
