This beautiful song was composed by G. Devarajan, while written by P. Bhaskaran and sung by P. Susheela in the year 1969. The song was from the very famous Indian Malayalam film “Kaatukurangu” which was directed P. Bhaskaran, written by K. Surendran and produced by Raveendran Nair. The film cast induces, Sathyan, Sharada, Jayabharathi and Kaviyoor Ponnamma.
1969-ൽ പി. ഭാസ്കരൻ എഴുതി പി. സുശീല പാടിയപ്പോൾ ജി. ദേവരാജനാണ് ഈ മനോഹര ഗാനം രചിച്ചത്. കെ. സുരേന്ദ്രൻ എഴുതി രവീന്ദ്രൻ നായർ നിർമ്മിച്ച പി. ഭാസ്കരൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത വളരെ പ്രശസ്തമായ ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാളം ചിത്രമായ"കാട്ടുകുരങ്ങ്" എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണിത്. സത്യൻ, ശാരദ, ജയഭാരതി, കവിയൂർ പൊന്നമ്മ എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിനേതാക്കൾ.
