"Marakkumo Neeyente Mounagaanam" was sung by K. J. Yesudas for male voice and K S Chithra for female voice. It was from the movie Karunyam which is a 1997 Indian Malayalam-language family drama film written and directed by A. K. Lohithadas. Its music and lyrics were by Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri. Jayaram, Murali, and Divya Unni play the key roles in the film. The primary cast's performances were praised and It is widely regarded as one of Murali's best performances.
