Mannil ee nalla mannil' is a song from the drama Surveykkallu (1954). The music was composed by G Devarajan and the lyrics were written by O N V Kurup. This KPAC drama was adapted to Malayalam film which was directed by Thoppil Bhasi in 1976. Kerala People's Arts Club (KPAC) is an Indian theatre movement based in Kayamkulam. It was founded in the 1950s by a group of people with ties to Kerala's left-wing political groups. The Communist Party of Kerala (KPAC) had a big hand in popularising the movement in Kerala. The drama was the defining production, deftly weaving in the principles of collective ownership, striking against the fiefdoms created by caste strictures and the ensuing poverty in Kerala's prevailing social system, exhorting people to rise up and fight it, portrayed through the lives of a crumbling.
മണ്ണിൽ ഈ നല്ല മണ്ണിൽ' എന്നത് സർവേകല്ല് (1954) എന്ന നാടകത്തിലെ ഒരു ഗാനമാണ്. ഒ എൻ വി കുറുപ്പിന്റെ വരികൾക്ക് ജി ദേവരാജൻ സംഗീതം പകർന്നു. ഈ കെപിഎസി നാടകം 1976-ൽ തോപ്പിൽ ഭാസി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത മലയാള സിനിമയ്ക്ക് അനുസൃതമായി രൂപാന്തരപ്പെടുത്തിയതാണ്. കായംകുളം ആസ്ഥാനമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ നാടക പ്രസ്ഥാനമാണ് കേരള പീപ്പിൾസ് ആർട്സ് ക്ലബ് (കെപിഎസി). കേരളത്തിലെ ഇടതുപക്ഷ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ഗ്രൂപ്പുകളുമായി ബന്ധമുള്ള ഒരു കൂട്ടം ആളുകളാണ് 1950 കളിൽ ഇത് സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്. കേരളത്തിൽ പ്രസ്ഥാനത്തെ ജനകീയമാക്കുന്നതിൽ കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ് പാർട്ടി ഓഫ് കേരള (കെപിഎസി) വലിയ പങ്കുവഹിച്ചു. കേരളത്തിലെ സാമൂഹിക വ്യവസ്ഥിതിയിലെ ജാതി വ്യവസ്ഥകളും തുടർന്നുള്ള ദാരിദ്ര്യവും സൃഷ്ടിച്ച വർഗീയതയ്ക്കെതിരെ പോരാടി, കൂട്ടായ ഉടമസ്ഥാവകാശത്തിന്റെ തത്വങ്ങളിൽ സമർത്ഥമായി നെയ്തെടുക്കുന്ന, നിർവചിക്കുന്ന നിർമ്മാണമായിരുന്നു നാടകം, തകരുന്ന ജീവിതത്തിലൂടെ ചിത്രീകരിച്ചത്.
