M. Krishnan Nair directed the 1966 Indian Malayalam film Kalithozhan, which was produced by A. V. Subbarao and L.V Prasad. Prem Nazir, Sheela, Sukumari, and Adoor Bhasi play the lead roles in the film. G. Devarajan composed the film's music. It was a remake of the Telugu film Illarikam. this song was written by P. Bhaskaran, and G. Devarajan's composition and it was sung by P. Jayachandran.
