ശ്രീകുമാരൻ തമ്പി എഴുതിയ "മനസ്സിൻറെ കിത്താബിലെ മാണിക്യക്കടലാസ്" എന്ന ഗാനം. കെ ജെ യേശുദാസും എസ് ജാനകിയും ചേർന്നാണ് ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത്. ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ സംഗീതം ഒരുക്കിയത് കെ വി ജോബ് ആണ്. 1969-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ 'ബല്ലാത്ത പഹയൻ' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണ് ഈ ഗാനം. ഹരിഹരൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ചിത്രത്തിൽ പ്രേം നസീർ, ജയഭാരതി, തിക്കുറിശ്ശി സുകുമാരൻ നായർ, മണവാളൻ ജോസഫ്, ശങ്കരാടി, കെ.പി.ഉമ്മർ എന്നിവർ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്റെ പശ്ചാത്തല സംഗീതവും ചിത്രത്തിനുണ്ട്.
