The song "Mallike Mallike" was sung by P. Susheela for the movie Shiksha which is a 1971 Indian Malayalam film that was directed by N. Prakash and produced by M. Azim. P Susheela is one of India's most famous and well-known playback singers. The Guinness Book of World Records and the Asia Book of Records have both acknowledged her for playing a record amount of songs in various Indian languages. The film stars Prem Nazir, Sathyan, Sheela and Kaviyoor Ponnamma in the lead roles. The music was composed by G. Devarajan and the lyrics were written by Vayalar Ramavarma. It's screenplay written by Thoppil Bhasi. During his active years in theatre and film, Thoppil Bhasi was prolific in terms of his creative output.
എൻ. പ്രകാശ് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് എം. അസിം നിർമ്മിച്ച 1971-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാളം ചിത്രമായ ശിക്ഷ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് വേണ്ടി പി. സുശീല പാടിയതാണ് "മല്ലികേ മല്ലികേ" എന്ന ഗാനം. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രശസ്തയും അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന പിന്നണി ഗായികമാരിൽ ഒരാളാണ് പി സുശീല. ഗിന്നസ് ബുക്ക് ഓഫ് വേൾഡ് റെക്കോർഡ്സും ഏഷ്യ ബുക്ക് ഓഫ് റെക്കോർഡ്സും വിവിധ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഭാഷകളിൽ റെക്കോർഡ് തുകയ്ക്ക് ഗാനങ്ങൾ ആലപിച്ചതിന് അവളരെ അംഗീകരിച്ചു. പ്രേം നസീർ, സത്യൻ, ഷീല, കവിയൂർ പൊന്നമ്മ എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. വയലാർ രാമവർമ എഴുതിയ വരികൾക്ക് സംഗീതം നൽകിയത് ജി.ദേവരാജനാണ്. തോപ്പിൽ ഭാസിയാണ് തിരക്കഥ. നാടകത്തിലും സിനിമയിലും സജീവമായ വർഷങ്ങളിൽ, തോപ്പിൽ ഭാസി തന്റെ സൃഷ്ടിപരമായ പ്രവർത്തനത്തിന്റെ കാര്യത്തിൽ സമൃദ്ധമായിരുന്നു.
