“Nilakkatha Chalanangal” is an Indian – Malayalam language film directed by K. Sukumaran Nair. The film stars Madhu, Jayabharati and Jose Prakash in the lead roles. The film had musical score done by G. Devarajan. The film was produced by Ek Sivaram for Santhi Productions Konni. The song “Madhyavenalavadhiyaayi Ormmakal…” is a gripping song sung by P. Susheela. The lyrics were written by Vayalar Ramavarma obviously adding his signature style to it. Here, it seems as if the lyrics are soliciting the memories which are like the summer vacation that happens once every year, rarely. We feel as if it is very difficult to open the chest of memories as the lyrics, rather blatantly expresses the different thoughts and speculations of the poet. This song is about the memories that were lying hidden, unopened and now when the time has arrived so as to open them the various thoughts are drawn through the lyrics.
കെ. സുകുമാരൻ നായർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ - മലയാളം ഭാഷാ ചിത്രമാണ് "നിലക്കാത്ത ചലനങ്ങൾ". മധു, ജയഭാരതി, ജോസ് പ്രകാശ് എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ചിത്രത്തിന് സംഗീതം നൽകിയത് ജി ദേവരാജാണ്. ശാന്തി പ്രൊഡക്ഷൻസ് കോന്നിക്ക് വേണ്ടി ഏക് ശിവറാം ആണ് ചിത്രം നിർമ്മിച്ചത്. "മധ്യവേനലവധിയായി ഓർമ്മകൾ..." എന്ന ഗാനം പി.സുശീല ആലപിച്ച ഹൃദയസ്പർശിയായ ഗാനമാണ്. വയലാർ രാമവർമ തന്റെ കൈയൊപ്പ് ചാർത്തുന്ന ശൈലിയാണ് എഴുതിയത്. ഇവിടെ, വർഷത്തിലൊരിക്കൽ, അപൂർവ്വമായി, വേനൽക്കാല അവധിക്കാലം പോലെയുള്ള ഓർമ്മകൾ വരികൾ അഭ്യർത്ഥിക്കുന്നതായി തോന്നുന്നു. കവിയുടെ വ്യത്യസ്തമായ ചിന്തകളും ഊഹാപോഹങ്ങളും നഗ്നമായി ആവിഷ്കരിക്കുന്ന വരികൾ എന്ന നിലയിൽ ഓർമ്മകളുടെ നെഞ്ച് തുറക്കുന്നത് വളരെ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടാണെന്ന് നമുക്ക് തോന്നുന്നു. മറഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്ന, തുറക്കപ്പെടാതെ കിടന്നിരുന്ന ഓർമ്മകളെ കുറിച്ചുള്ളതാണ് ഈ ഗാനം, ഇപ്പോൾ അവ തുറക്കാൻ സമയമായപ്പോൾ വിവിധ ചിന്തകൾ വരികളിലൂടെ വരച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
