Madam Marie Curie is one of the most brilliant researchers the world has ever seen. The radioactive element radium was discovered by Madam Curie. This element is very crucial for the treatment of diseases like cancer. Madam Curie was the first woman to receive the Nobel Prize. Madam Curie was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1903 and Chemistry in 1911. Their death were caused by the strong after effects from the radioactive element radium.
ലോകം കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ള ഏറ്റവും പ്രകൽഭരായ ഗവേഷകരിൽ പ്രധാനിയാണ് മാഡം മേരി ക്യുറീ. റേഡിയോ ആക്റ്റീവ് മൂലകം ആയ റേഡിയം കണ്ടുപിടിച്ചത് മാഡം ക്യുറയാണ്. അർബുദം പോലുള്ള അസുഖങ്ങളുടെ ചികിത്സയ്ക്ക് ഈ മൂലകം വളരെ നിർണ്ണായകമാണ്. നോബൽ സമ്മാനം ആദ്യമായി ലഭിക്കുന്ന വനിത ആയിരുന്നു മാഡം ക്യുറീ. 1903 ഇൽ ഫിസിക്സ്‌,1911 ഇൽ രസതന്ത്രത്തിനും മാഡം ക്യുറീക്ക് നോബൽ സമ്മാനം ലഭിച്ചു. റേഡിയോ ആക്റ്റീവ് മൂലകം ആയ റേഡിയത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഏറ്റ ശക്തമായ പ്രഹരം കാരണമാണ് അവരുടെ മരണം സംഭവിച്ചതും.
