Maye paalkkadalmathe' is a song from the drama Kadannalkkoodu. G Devarajan master composed the song's music and ONV Kurup wrote it's lyrics. This is a famous play by Kalidasa Kalakendram. Kalidasa Kalakendram is a professional drama theatrical group based in Kollam, Kerala, founded by O. Madhavan, a well-known Malayalam theatre director. On January 25, 1963, the group was established as a society under the umbrella of the Paul Foundation with the support of O. N. V. Kurup, Vaikom Chandrasekharan Nair and Devarajan Master.
കടന്നൽക്കൂട് എന്ന നാടകത്തിലെ ഒരു ഗാനമാണ് 'മായേ പാൽക്കടൽമാതേ'. ജി ദേവരാജൻ മാസ്റ്ററാണ് ഗാനത്തിന് സംഗീതം പകർന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്, ഒഎൻവി കുറുപ്പാണ് വരികൾ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. കാളിദാസ കലാകേന്ദ്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രസിദ്ധമായ നാടകമാണിത്. മലയാളത്തിലെ പ്രശസ്ത നാടക സംവിധായകനായ ഒ. മാധവൻ സ്ഥാപിച്ച കേരളത്തിലെ കൊല്ലം ആസ്ഥാനമായുള്ള ഒരു പ്രൊഫഷണൽ നാടക നാടക സംഘമാണ് കാളിദാസ കലാകേന്ദ്രം. 1963 ജനുവരി 25 ന് ഒ.എൻ.വി.കുറുപ്പ്, വൈക്കം ചന്ദ്രശേഖരൻ നായർ, ദേവരാജൻ മാസ്റ്റർ എന്നിവരുടെ പിന്തുണയോടെ പോൾ ഫൗണ്ടേഷന്റെ കുടക്കീഴിൽ ഒരു സൊസൈറ്റിയായി ഗ്രൂപ്പ് സ്ഥാപിതമായി.
