The song Manathoonnoru thenmazha peyyan is from the film Kalam maarunnu. The lyrics were written by O N V Kurup and the music was composed by G Devarajan. The song was performed by K S George and his band. KS George was a Malayalam drama singer who enthralled audiences for more than a decade and a half. George was born into a working-class household in Alappuzha and was schooled in music by the little Unnithan Bhagavathar. Through his revolutionary songs, he prospered in the world of play, and he entered the world of singing as a performer in 'KPAC,' which was founded by lawyer Rajagopalan Nair, Janardhana Kurup, and Rajamani. 'ningalenne communistskki' and 'Survey kallu' are two plays that Malayalees will never forget. George went on to star in the film 'Kalam Marunnu,' which was produced by Kailas Pictures' Narayanan. His other songs in this movie also become very popular. He passed away in 1989.
മാനത്തൂന്നൊരു തേൻമഴ പെയ്യാൻ എന്ന ഗാനം കാലം മാറുന്നു എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെതാണ്. ഒ എൻ വി കുറുപ്പ് എഴുതിയ വരികൾക്ക് ജി ദേവരാജൻ സംഗീതം പകർന്നു. കെ എസ് ജോർജും സംഘവും ചേർന്നാണ് ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത്. ഒന്നര പതിറ്റാണ്ടിലേറെക്കാലം പ്രേക്ഷകരെ ത്രസിപ്പിച്ച മലയാള നാടക ഗായകനായിരുന്നു കെ എസ് ജോർജ്. ആലപ്പുഴയിലെ ഒരു തൊഴിലാളി കുടുംബത്തിൽ ജനിച്ച ജോർജ്ജ് ചെറിയ ഉണ്ണിത്താൻ ഭാഗവതരിൽ നിന്ന് സംഗീതം അഭ്യസിച്ചു. തന്റെ വിപ്ലവഗാനങ്ങളിലൂടെ കളിയുടെ ലോകത്ത് അഭിവൃദ്ധി പ്രാപിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം അഭിഭാഷകനായ രാജഗോപാലൻ നായരും ജനാർദനക്കുറുപ്പും രാജാമണിയും ചേർന്ന് സ്ഥാപിച്ച 'കെപിഎസി'യിൽ അവതാരകനായാണ് പാട്ടിന്റെ ലോകത്തേക്ക് പ്രവേശിച്ചത്. മലയാളികൾ ഒരിക്കലും മറക്കാത്ത രണ്ട് നാടകങ്ങളാണ് 'നിങ്ങളെന്നെ കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ്ക്കി'യും 'സർവേ കല്ലും'. കൈലാസ് പിക്ചേഴ്സിന്റെ നാരായണൻ നിർമ്മിച്ച 'കാലം മാറുന്നു എന്ന സിനിമയിൽ ജോർജ്ജ് പാട്ടുകൾ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിലെ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മറ്റ് ഗാനങ്ങളും വളരെ ജനപ്രിയമായി. 1989-ൽ അദ്ദേഹം അന്തരിച്ചു.
