Notice is the legal concept describing a requirement that a party be aware of legal process affecting their rights, obligations or duties. A public notice given to the public regarding certain types of legal proceedings. One method of notice is publication of a public notice ad in a local newspaper of Lost and Found notice or just a piece of information to be delivered to the targeted audience. It is generally written in a formal tone. The Notice Writing Format should include NAME OF THE INSTITUTION / ISSUING AUTHORITY / NOTICE / TITLE, DATE, and WRITER’S NAME WITH DESIGNATION. A notice should contain all the necessary details such as: Name of the issuing agency (school or another) Date of issue or release of the notice. Public notice can also be given in other ways, including radio, television, and on the Internet. Some governments required publication in a local or nationwide newspaper or the government gazette, though there have been attempts among some politicians to eliminate the expense of publication by switching to electronic forms of notification.
