Level Measurement - Part 1

Presentations | English

A level measurement is a measurement of fluid level, while a level is a measurement of height, such as the fluid level in a tank. The level measurement devices can be used to determine the level of gas or fluid, and they can do it directly or indirectly, depending on the purpose. The linear distance between the top surface of a liquid or solid and a predetermined reference point, such as a tank, is the basic definition of level measurement. Physical factors such as fluid motion, as well as thermal, optical, and electrical properties, are used in the direct technique of level measuring. Because measuring the level is as simple as measuring the height of the substance in a vessel, this direct measurement is frequently simple. Read to know more.
