A condition which tells us about the disability to understand a language or to coordinate movements and do mathematical and logical calculations can be termed as learning disability. Even if it occurs in a younger age, it can only be diagnosed once the child reaches his/her school age. Causative factors can be genetical or neurobiological, which affects the functions of brain, that is the cognitive processes inducing learning. Problems happens with basic skills like reading and writing. Moreover than learning or studies, this affects the wellness of an individual more than his/her academic education. It is a lifelong challenge, with no cure discovered yet. With special attention, training and support these people can succeed in life. Dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyslexia, non-verbal learning disability etc are different types of learning disabilities.
