The media has huge impact on the overall behaviour of kids. In the recent times, Kids and the media is a growing concern. Media has both positive and negative affect on kids. The media has a disturbing potential to negatively affect many aspects of children's healthy development, including weight status, sexual initiation, aggressive feelings and beliefs, consumerism and social isolation. The cognitive impact of these media depends on the age of the child, the kind of programming (educational programming versus programming produced for adults), the social context of viewing, as well the particular kind of interactive media (eg, computer games).
