The music composition for this song is done by G Devarajan and Vayalar Ramavarma wrote the lyrics. The beautiful voice that we hear in the song is that of P Susheela.
ഓടയിൽ നിന്ന് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ വളരെ പ്രണയാർദ്രമായ ഗാനമാണ് കാറ്റിൽ ഇളം കാറ്റിൽ. സത്യൻ, പ്രേം നസീർ, ജയഭാരതി തുടങ്ങിയ മഹാനടന്മാർക്കൊപ്പം 1965-ൽ ഈ ച്ചിത്രം പുറത്തിറങ്ങി. വയലാർ രാമവർമ വരികൾ എഴുതിയ ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ സംഗീതം ജി ദേവരാജൻ നിർവ്വഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ പാട്ടിന്റെ പിന്നിലുള്ള മനോഹര ശബ്ദം പി സുശീലയുടേതാണ്.
