“Kasthoori Manakkunnallo Kaatte” is an evergreen Malayalam song which was sung beautifully by Ganagandharvan K J Yesudas. This song was first used in the movie Picnic which was released in the year 1975. This same song was recreated in another Malayalam movie Naayika which was released in the year 2011. This song was composed by M K Arjunan for Sreekumaran Thampi's lyrics. This beautiful song is considered to be one of the timeless evergreen classics of Malayalam cinema.
ഗാനഗന്ധർവൻ കെ ജെ യേശുദാസ് മനോഹരമായി ആലപിച്ച നിത്യഹരിത മലയാള ഗാനമാണ് “കസ്തൂരി മണക്കുന്നല്ലോ കാറ്റേ”. 1975-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ പിക്നിക് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലാണ് ഈ ഗാനം ആദ്യമായി ഉപയോഗിച്ചത്. 2011-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മറ്റൊരു മലയാള സിനിമയായ നായികയിലും ഇതേ ഗാനം പുനഃസൃഷ്ടിച്ചു. ശ്രീകുമാരൻ തമ്പിയുടെ വരികൾക്ക് എം കെ അർജുനനാണ് ഈ ഗാനം ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. ഈ മനോഹര ഗാനം മലയാള സിനിമയുടെ എക്കാലത്തെയും നിത്യഹരിത ക്ലാസിക്കുകളിൽ ഒന്നായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
