"Karuthalum is a Malayalam song from the Malayalam movie Vanadevatha which was released in the year 1976. This song was sung by the famous playback singer Madhuri. This song was beautifully composed by music director Devarajan. This movie was directed by Yusufali Kechery. He himself produced this Malayalam language movie. The film starred Prem Nazir, Madhushala and Adoor Bhasi . The film and song was warmly welcomed by everyone in film industry.
1976ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ വനദേവത എന്ന മലയാളം ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാളം ഗാനമാണ് കരുതലും ദേവരാജൻ, ഈ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത് യൂസഫലി കേച്ചേരിയാണ്. അദ്ദേഹം തന്നെയാണ് ഈ മലയാളം ഭാഷാ ചിത്രം നിർമ്മിച്ചത്. പ്രേം നസീർ, മധുശാല, അടൂർ ഭാസി എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു ചിത്രത്തിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചത്. ചിത്രത്തെയും ഗാനത്തെയും സിനിമാ മേഖലയിലെ എല്ലാവരും ഹാർദ്ദമായി സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്തു.
