“Karutha Sooryanudhichu” is a Malayalam song from the movie Devi which was released in the year 1972. This song was sung by the playback singer Ganagandharvan K J Yesudas. The lyrics for this song were written by Vayalar Ramavarma. This song was beautifully composed by music director G Devarajan. The film actors Prem Nazeer, Sheela, Sankaradi, Madhu, Adoor Bhasi, Paravoor Bharathan played the lead character roles in this movie. This movie was directed by K S Sethumadhavan.
1972-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ദേവി എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാളം ഗാനമാണ് “കറുത്ത സൂര്യനുദിച്ചു”. ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത് പിന്നണി ഗായകൻ ഗാനഗന്ധർവൻ കെ ജെ യേശുദാസാണ്. വയലാർ രാമവർമയാണ് ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ വരികൾ എഴുതിയത്. സംഗീത സംവിധായകൻ ജി ദേവരാജൻ മനോഹരമായി ഈ ഗാനം ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ചലച്ചിത്ര അഭിനേതാക്കളായ പ്രേംനസീർ, ഷീല, ശങ്കരാടി, മധു, അടൂർ ഭാസി, പറവൂർ ഭരതൻ എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. കെ എസ് സേതുമാധവൻ ആണ് ഈ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത്.
