Karukare Niramulla Kuyile nee' is a beautiful light music by O N V Kurup. Ottaplakkal Neelakandan Velu Kurup was a Malayalam poet and lyricist from Kerala, India, who in 2007 received the Jnanpith Award, India's highest literary honour. In 1998, he was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian honour, and in 2011, he was awarded the Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian honour. He received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Kerala in Trivandrum in 2007. O. N. V. was well-known for his left-wing sympathies. He was a member of the All India Students Federation's leadership team (AISF). During the early years of radio broadcasting, light music was very popular, with nearly entirely "light" pieces being played. The emphasis on melody is what distinguishes light music. Light music works are frequently presented singly or as sections within a suite, with descriptive titles.
ഒ എൻ വി കുറുപ്പിന്റെ മനോഹരമായ ലളിത ഗാനമാണ് "കറുകറെ നിറമുള്ള കുയിലേ ഈ" എന്ന് തുടങ്ങുന്ന ഗാനം. ഒറ്റപ്ലാക്കൽ നീലകണ്ഠൻ വേലു കുറുപ്പ്, 2007-ൽ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പരമോന്നത സാഹിത്യ ബഹുമതിയായ ജ്ഞാനപീഠ പുരസ്കാരം നേടിയ, ഇന്ത്യയിലെ കേരളത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാള കവിയും ഗാനരചയിതാവുമാണ്. 1998-ൽ, ഇന്ത്യയിലെ നാലാമത്തെ പരമോന്നത സിവിലിയൻ ബഹുമതിയായ പത്മശ്രീയും, 2011-ൽ, ഇന്ത്യയിലെ രണ്ടാമത്തെ ഉയർന്ന സിവിലിയൻ ബഹുമതിയായ പത്മവിഭൂഷണും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ലഭിച്ചു. 2007-ൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തെ കേരള സർവ്വകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ഓണററി ഡോക്ടറേറ്റ് ലഭിച്ചു. ഇടതുപക്ഷ അനുഭാവത്തിന് ഒ.എൻ.വി. ഓൾ ഇന്ത്യ സ്റ്റുഡന്റ്സ് ഫെഡറേഷന്റെ (എഐഎസ്എഫ്) നേതൃത്വ ടീമിൽ അംഗമായിരുന്നു. റേഡിയോ പ്രക്ഷേപണത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ വർഷങ്ങളിൽ, ലളിതസംഗീതം വളരെ ജനപ്രിയമായിരുന്നു, ഏതാണ്ട് പൂർണ്ണമായും "ലൈറ്റ്" പീസുകൾ പ്ലേ ചെയ്തു. മെലഡിക്ക് പ്രാധാന്യം നൽകുന്നതാണ് ലളിതസംഗീതത്തെ വ്യത്യസ്തമാക്കുന്നത്. ലളിതഗാന വർക്കുകൾ വിവരണാത്മക ശീർഷകങ്ങളോടെ ഒറ്റയായോ വിഭാഗങ്ങളായോ അവതരിപ്പിക്കാറുണ്ട്.
