Kanninnu Pookkaniyaam Kannappanunni is a Malayalam song in the movie Kannappanunni. It is a 1977 Malayalam-language Indian film based on India's traditional martial art, Kalaripayattu. It was the 100th film in which Prem Nazir and Sheela starred together. Kunchako directed and produced the picture. Prem Nazir, Sheela, Sukumari, and Jayabharathi appear in the film. K. Raghavan composed the film's musical score and songs. The lyrics were written by P. Bhaskaran and the song was sang by Pulapaka Susheela often known as P. Susheela, who is an Indian playback vocalist who is best known for her work in South Indian films.
കണ്ണപ്പനുണ്ണി എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാളം ഗാനമാണ് കണ്ണിന്നു പൂകണിയാം കണ്ണപ്പനുണ്ണി. ഇന്ത്യയുടെ പരമ്പരാഗത ആയോധന കലയായ കളരിപ്പയറ്റിനെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി 1977-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മലയാളം ഭാഷാ ഇന്ത്യൻ ചിത്രമാണിത്. പ്രേം നസീറും ഷീലയും ഒന്നിച്ചഭിനയിച്ച നൂറാമത്തെ ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു ഇത്. കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുകയും നിർമ്മിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. പ്രേം നസീർ, ഷീല, സുകുമാരി, ജയഭാരതി എന്നിവർ ചിത്രത്തിൽ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നു. കെ.രാഘവനാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ സംഗീതം ഒരുക്കിയത്. പി. ഭാസ്കരനാണ് വരികൾ എഴുതിയത്. ദക്ഷിണേന്ത്യൻ സിനിമകളിലെ അഭിനയത്തിന് പ്രശസ്തയായ ഇന്ത്യൻ പിന്നണി ഗായകനായ പി.സുശീല എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന പുലപാക സുശീലയാണ് ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത്.
