Kanneerkkadalil poya kinavukale is a song from the movie Veettumrigam. It was sung by P Susheela. P Susheela has been honoured by both the Guinness Book of World Records and the Asia Book of Records for singing a record number of songs in various Indian languages. She has also won five National Film Prizes for Best Female Playback Singer, as well as numerous state awards. Veettumrugam is a 1969 Indian Malayalam film that was directed by P. Venu and produced by P. Sukumaran and G. Arjunan. The film stars Sathyan, Madhu, Sharada and Jayabharathi in the lead roles. The music was composed by G. Devarajan and the lyrics were written by P. Bhaskaran.
വീട്ടുമൃഗം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു ഗാനമാണ് "കണ്ണീർക്കടലിൽ പോയ കിനാവുകളേ". പി സുശീലയാണ് ഈ ഗാനം പാടിയത്. വിവിധ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഭാഷകളിൽ റെക്കോർഡ് എണ്ണം ഗാനങ്ങൾ ആലപിച്ചതിന് ഗിന്നസ് ബുക്ക് ഓഫ് വേൾഡ് റെക്കോർഡും ഏഷ്യ ബുക്ക് ഓഫ് റെക്കോർഡും പി സുശീലയെ ആദരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. മികച്ച പിന്നണി ഗായികയ്ക്കുള്ള അഞ്ച് ദേശീയ ചലച്ചിത്ര പുരസ്കാരങ്ങളും നിരവധി സംസ്ഥാന അവാർഡുകളും അവർ നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. പി. വേണു സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് പി. സുകുമാരനും ജി. അർജുനനും ചേർന്ന് നിർമ്മിച്ച 1969-ലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാളം ചിത്രമാണ് വീട്ടുമൃഗം. സത്യൻ, മധു, ശാരദ, ജയഭാരതി എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. പി ഭാസ്കരൻ്റെ വരികൾക്ക് ജി. ദേവരാജൻ മാസ്റ്റർ ഈണം നൽകി.
