“Kanna karmukil varnna” is a song sung by P Susheela for the Malayalam movie Hridayathinte nirangal, released in the year 1979. This song was written by Sreekumaran thampi and composed by G Devarajan. The film Hridayathinte nirangal was a remake of the Tamil film Naanum Oru Penn. This movie was directed and produced by P. Subramaniam. Madhu, Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair, Raghavan and Unnimary were the actors who did the lead character roles for this movie. Actor Madhu was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 2013.
1979-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ നിറങ്ങൾ എന്ന മലയാള സിനിമയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി പി സുശീല പാടിയ ഗാനമാണ് “കണ്ണാ കാർമുകിൽ വർണ്ണ”. ഈ ഗാനം രചിച്ചത് ശ്രീകുമാരൻ തമ്പിയും സംഗീതം നൽകിയത് ജി ദേവരാജുമാണ്. നാനും ഒരു പെണ്ണ് എന്ന തമിഴ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ റീമേക്ക് ആയിരുന്നു ഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ നിറങ്ങൾ. പി.സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യം ആണ് ഈ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് നിർമ്മിച്ചത്. മധു, തിക്കുറിശ്ശി സുകുമാരൻ നായർ, രാഘവൻ, ഉണ്ണിമേരി എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. നടൻ മധുവിന് 2013 ൽ ഇന്ത്യാ ഗവൺമെന്റ് പത്മശ്രീ നൽകി ആദരിച്ചു.
