In the year 1970, P. Susheela sang this song, which was composed by the well-known music composer G. Devarajan and penned by Vayalar Ramavarma. P. Subramaniam directed and produced the Indian Malayalam film "Swapnangal," which featured this song. Madhu, K.V. Shanthi, and S.P Pillai play the lead characters in the film. This film depicts the love between two couples from two distinct communities, as well as the consequences of their relationship.
