"Kattupookkal njangal kattupookkal" is a song from the movie Kattupookkal. It is a 1965 Indian malayalam language film which was directed and produced by K. Thankappan. The film stars Madhu, Adoor Bhasi, Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair and Devika in the lead roles. Ponkunnam Varkey wrote the story of film. Varkey was a founding member of Kerala's progressive writers' forum and literary writers' cooperative. He served as the president of both the Kerala Sahitya Akademi and the Sahithya Pravarthaka Co-operative Society. The music was composed by G. Devarajan and the lyrics were written by O. N. V. Kurup. P Leela, Chorus sang this song. The song symbolically mentions failed romance or ignored love. Since it's been a wild flower no one cared since it has no much fragrance and beauty. A wild flower is one that develops naturally rather than being actively seeded or planted. The word implies that the plant is unlikely to be a hybrid or a selected cultivar that differs in any manner from how it grows in the wild as a native plant, even if it is growing in an unusual location.
കാട്ടുപൂക്കൾ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു ഗാനമാണ്"കാട്ടുപൂക്കൾ ഞങ്ങൾ കാട്ടുപൂക്കൾ". കെ. തങ്കപ്പൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുകയും നിർമ്മിക്കുകയും ചെയ്ത 1965 ലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാള ഭാഷാ ചിത്രമാണിത്. മധു, അടൂർ ഭാസി, തിക്കുറിശ്ശി സുകുമാരൻ നായർ, ദേവിക എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. പൊൻകുന്നം വർക്കിയാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ കഥ എഴുതിയത്. കേരളത്തിലെ പുരോഗമന എഴുത്തുകാരുടെ വേദിയുടെയും സാഹിത്യകാരന്മാരുടെ സഹകരണ സംഘത്തിന്റെയും സ്ഥാപക അംഗമായിരുന്നു വർക്കി. കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമിയുടെയും സാഹിത്യ പ്രവർത്തക കോ-ഓപ്പറേറ്റീവ് സൊസൈറ്റിയുടെയും പ്രസിഡന്റായും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു. ഒ.എൻ.വി.കുറുപ്പിന്റെ വരികൾക്ക് ജി.ദേവരാജൻ സംഗീതം പകർന്നു. പി ലീല, കോറസ് ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചു. പരാജയപ്പെട്ട പ്രണയത്തെയോ അവഗണിക്കപ്പെട്ട പ്രണയത്തെയോ ഗാനം പ്രതീകാത്മകമായി പരാമർശിക്കുന്നു. കാട്ടുപുഷ്പമായതിനാൽ അധികം സൌരഭ്യവും സൌന്ദര്യവുമില്ലാത്തതിനാൽ ആരും അത് ഗൗനിച്ചിരുന്നില്ല. ഒരു കാട്ടു പൂവ് സജീവമായി സ്വാഭാവികമായി വികസിക്കുന്ന ഒന്നാണ്. വിത്ത് നടുന്നതിന് പകരം അസാധാരണമായ സ്ഥലത്താണ് വളരുന്നതെങ്കിൽപ്പോലും, ഈ ചെടി ഒരു സങ്കരയിനമോ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ഇനമോ ആകാൻ സാധ്യതയില്ലെന്ന് ഈ വാക്ക് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
