"Karmukhile" is a collection of kid's poems written by Chandrakanth. Chandrakanth's children's poems are not only lyrical but also have a special ability to understand the minds of children and to write poetry that children enjoy. This beautiful poem describes how one can sometimes find solace in the midst of so many disappointments and sorrows, as well as arrive at karmukil, though it is too late to spread the divine fragrance of the new earth to cool the earth. What's the point? The child is waiting for the rain. Under the fading sun in the sky, saw a black cloud like a crow raven with the wind. The frightening thunder also came. The peacocks spread their peals, the lightning bolts hung on the pendulum, and yet why was the rain not pouring down on the withered greenery. The child is eagerly waiting for the rain and the smell of soil to come.
"കാർമുകിലേ" ചന്ദ്രകാന്തം എഴുതിയ ഒരു കൂടിക്കവിതയാണ്. നല്ല താളത്തില് ചൊല്ലാന് പറ്റുന്ന വരികള് മാത്രമല്ല ചന്ദ്രകാന്തത്തിന്റെ കുട്ടിക്കവിതകളുടെ പ്രത്യേകത, കുട്ടികളുടെ മനസ്സ് മനസ്സിലാക്കാനും കുട്ടികള്ക്ക് രസിക്കുന്ന കവിത എഴുതാനും ഒരു പ്രത്യേക കഴിവ് തന്നെ അദ്ദേത്തിന് ഉണ്ട്. ഒത്തിരി നിരാശകള്ക്കും ദുഖങ്ങള്ക്കുമിടക്ക് ആശ്വാസമായി ചിലപ്പോള് സുഖംവന്നെത്താറുണ്ട്. അതുപോലെ ഭൂമിയെ കുളിരണിയിക്കാന് പുതുമണ്ണിന്റെ ദിവ്യ സുഗന്ധം വിരിയിക്കാന് ഇത്തിരി വൈകിയാണെങ്കിലും കാർമുകിൽ എത്തും എന്ന് ഈ മനോഹരമായ കവിതയിൽ വിവരിക്കുന്നു. കാർമേഘം കെട്ടി നിന്നിട്ടും എന്താണ് മഴ പെയ്യാത്തത്. കുട്ടി മഴക്ക് വേണ്ടി കാത്തിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ആകാശത്ത് മങ്ങിതുടങ്ങിയ സൂര്യനു താഴെ കാറ്റിനൊപ്പം കാക്ക കറുംബി പോലെയുള്ള കറുത്ത മേഘത്തെ കണ്ടു. അതിൻ്റെ കൂടെ പേടിപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ഇടിയും കൂടെ വന്നെത്തി. മയിലുകൾ പീലി വിടർത്തി, മിന്നൽ പിണരുകൾ തോരണം തൂക്കി, എന്നിട്ടും എന്താണ് വാടുന്ന പച്ചപ്പടർപ്പിനു മേലെ മഴ വെള്ളം ചൊരിയത്തത്.
