Joint families are now-a-days less common, but it has more advantages. Usually contains more people to support each other and kids will be having a lot of attention. Importance of adjustment will be known to all the family members including the younger generation. Functions and festivals will be lot of fun and enjoyment. Also, it is a cost-effective unit, because family members sharing the responsibilities of finance. No room for loneliness or depression. Nuclear families on the other hand, will be a private unit. Less financial needs and well economical family. Members of the family will be more responsible. Safety and security will be lacking and chances to get isolated from extended family is more.
