"John Jafar Janardhanan" was a famous song from the malayalam movie "John Jaffer Janardhanan". This song was sung by K. J. Yesudas, Jayachandran, Unni Menon and Kalyani Menon. Music composition was done by Shyam and lyrics was written by Sreekumaran Thampi. This movie was directed by I. V. Sasi. Important roles were played by Ratheesh, Raveendran, Mammootty, Balan K Nair, Jose Prakash and Captain Raju. This malayalam movie was released in the year 1982 and was the remake of an Hindi film.
"ജോൺ ജാഫർ ജനാർദ്ദനൻ" എന്ന മലയാളം സിനിമയിലെ പ്രശസ്തമായ ഗാനമായിരുന്നു "ജോൺ ജാഫർ ജനാർദനൻ". കെ ജെ യേശുദാസ്, ജയചന്ദ്രൻ, ഉണ്ണി മേനോൻ, കല്യാണി മേനോൻ എന്നിവർ ചേർന്നാണ് ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ശ്രീകുമാരൻ തമ്പിയുടെ വരികൾക്ക് ശ്യാം സംഗീത സംവിധാനം നിർവഹിച്ചു. ഐ വി ശശിയാണ് ഈ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത്. രതീഷ്, രവീന്ദ്രൻ, മമ്മൂട്ടി, ബാലൻ കെ നായർ, ജോസ് പ്രകാശ്, ക്യാപ്റ്റൻ രാജു എന്നിവർ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. 1982-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഈ മലയാളം സിനിമ ഒരു ഹിന്ദി സിനിമയുടെ റീമേക്ക് ആയിരുന്നു.
