"Physiotherapists, also known as P.T. helpers, provide non-medical assistance to physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants. They prepare treatment equipment and rooms to help physically handicapped patients reach the treatment area and take on administrative tasks. They can be used in hospitals, clinics or care facilities. This profession assists patients in hospitalization, prepares equipment and treatment areas, and takes patients with movement disorders to specific locations within the facility. To ensure success, physiotherapy providers need to have a solid understanding of the day-to-day operations of the physiotherapy facility and their ability to work under the supervision of a physiotherapist. A good physiotherapist is one who contributes to extraordinary patient care with his organizational talent and careful empathy. Physiotherapy Assistant Requirements: • Abitur or GED. • Basic life support (BLS) certification is desirable. • Previous knowledge of healthcare is beneficial. • MS Knowledge of Office software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook Express. • Outstanding organizational and time management capabilities. • Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills. • Attention to detail and compassionate nature. • Ability to perform tasks that require physical fitness."
