"Physiatrist, also known as physical therapy and rehabilitation (PM & R), work in clinics and hospitals to treat patients suffering from a variety of physical illnesses or recovering from surgical procedures. Physical therapists work with a variety of patients to help them restore optimal physical function and improve their quality of life. Many of your patients are disabled as a result of illness, disability, or injury. To be successful as a physiotherapist, you must be able to treat a variety of conditions that affect a patient's brain, spinal nerves, nerves, bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, and tendons. To become a Physiatrist, you may need a bachelor's degree in biology, physics, or a related discipline. • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathic Doctor (DO). • 4-7 years of internships and professional training focused on physical therapy and rehabilitation. • A valid and valid medical license in the federal state you want to practice. • Knowledge of different types of rehabilitation treatments and programs for different disorders. • Special attention to detail. • Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity. • Great manners in bed. • An excellent communicator who can empathize with patients."
