"Maintainance engineers are responsible for the successful and effective installation and the maintainance of industrial machinery and equipments. They look after the health of these equipments and ensure their proper functioning. The materials are checked upon on a regular basis by these professionals by troubleshooting and running tests and if and when errors are found, they immediately rectify and are authorised to make repairs then and there. The industrial equipments could be from a number of different industries, ranging from aerospace to medical. The main set of responsibilities of that of a maintainance engineer comprises conducting equipment inspections regularly and hence run tests on them, detecting malfunctions, replacing old equipments and installing new ones, engaging in conversation with clients and customers whenever needed and more."
