Did you know that an hour of massage is equivalent to 7-8 hours of sleep for your body? Massage therapy is defined as the manual or mechanical or electrical manipulation of soft tissue for the aim of body massage. Effleurage (stroking), petrissage (kneading), tapotement (percussion), compression, vibration, friction, nerve strokes, and Swedish gymnastics are all covered under this umbrella word. Oil, lubricant, salt glows, heat lamps, hot and cold packs, or tub, shower, jacuzzi, sauna, steam, or cabinet baths are all options for massage therapy. When massage therapy is used for therapeutic purposes, it is considered a health care service, and a qualified massage therapist may be referred by a physician. Guests will meet with the message therapist to be screened for underlying issues and to help them choose appropriate services. Therapist will massage your wrists and other portions of your body in a way that prevents injury. They need to answer questions from guests and explain treatments and packages in a kind manner. To be successful, you must help clients choose the most appropriate services for their needs, be a professional massage therapist, and assure guest retention.
