The role of inventory coordinator includes planning and executing all events, oversees event production and solves problems as they arise, coordinates mail, shipping and receiving and managing office supplies and orders materials as necessary. An inventory clerk, or inventory associate, keeps track of the goods and supplies in a store or warehouse and manages orders to facilitate sales or production. Their duties include signing off on shipments, counting the number of available products and placing orders for more inventory according to demand. Inventory control or stock control can be broadly defined as “the activity of checking a shop’s stock.” It is the process of ensuring that the right amount of supply is available within a business.
