"Independent contractors are experts who are committed to completing assigned work in a stipulated format on a stipulated time. Being 'independent', they are not permanently committed to any form of work or organisational entity. They are similar to freelancers and thus does not commit to any work where there are certain restrictions or dictation towards how the work has to be completed. Their main set of duties and responsibilities to be fulfilled are inclusive of functions such as formulating strategies, engaging in effective communication and liaising with clients and potential customers, respectively, properly communicating with clients towards understanding their pattern of work, reviewing and overseeing work from the very beginning of the assignment to end and more."
