The person responsible for creating a look of the film, also called as DP or cinematographer. Quality of a DP lies in elevating director's vision by introducing ideas and concepts. This makes the director and cinematographer work together every next time. Cinematographer controls everything related to camera working like composition, exposure, lighting, filters and camera movements. The DP is the head of camera as well as lighting crew of the whole movie set. He/she selects the needed cameras, lenses and filters for completing the project. Responsibilities of the DP varies with each phase of film production. In pre-production, duty of DP is to spend time by getting a visual look. By working close with director, production designer and art department, cinematographer brainstorms the look as well as feel of the project.
