"Growth is important. Development is important and for that to happen, several factors must come together. A development coordinator is someone who works with several organisations so as to secure funding. What they do is that they strive to improve the organisation's initiative by actively seeking sponsorship, funding or partnership. They come up with fundraising ideas and initiatives and assit other departments leaders and officials. They actively keep making new relationships with professionals and maintain that donor relationship as well. The main set of responsibilities a development coordinator has are to conduct fundraising events, to make an account of the expected budget that could come out of it, engage in active promotion of these initiatives, assist in writing and presenting proposals and more.
