The treatment of a wide variety of challenges and disorders affecting children and their families is referred to as child psychology. Psychologists that primarily work with children offer examinations, do research, and provide counselling to individuals, families, and organisations. Child psychologists operate in a variety of settings, including private offices, schools, hospitals, and government institutions. Children's emotional, mental, and behavioural issues are frequently addressed differently than adults'. Some child psychologists operate in clinical settings, where they interact directly with their clients. Other child psychologists work in research roles at university, government, or private institutions. Some school-based child psychologists concentrate on how behavioural and mental issues impact learning. They may assist pupils in dealing with challenges, execute performance plans, and give counselling to teachers and guardians. Child psychologists' ultimate objective is to coordinate the treatment and recovery of children with these illnesses.
