A Call Centre Representative, or Call Centre Agent, takes calls from customers answering questions or addressing any concerns they may have. Their duties include handling many inbound and outbound calls to and from customers, listening to customers needs or issues and providing helpful solutions to their problems. Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) involves contracting of operations to a third party service provider and it is a BPO Manager’s job to oversee the operations of his division and to ensure that all the needs of the client are met, while taking care of the needs of their employees. When a company enlists a BPO, it gains a process, its underlying technologies, and, usually, IT support staff as well. Customer service representative jobs range from entry-level to manager. This position interacts with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints.
