Associate Dentists work as either employees or independent contractors in dental practises. They carry out common and advanced dental treatments to enhance patients' oral health, as well as aesthetic dentistry procedures to improve the appearance of patients' teeth, gums, and bite. The Associate Dentist is responsible for designing appropriate treatment plans for patients, maintaining an accurate record of all appointments, diagnosis, and treatments, and addressing patients' inquiries. You should also be able to manage the technical and administrative employees. Examining patients' teeth and gums to diagnose and treat various oral health issues, using X-rays and computer-generated imaging to assist with examinations, providing dental treatments to patients, including routine cleanings, extractions, dental fillings, cavity and tooth decay treatments, teeth whitening, bonding, and applications of dental crowns, caps, and veneers are some of the responsibilities of an Associate Dentist.
