Asphalt labourers assist in the pouring, smoothing and setting of asphalt on roads, pathways, and parking lots. The main role of the asphalt labourer is to look after the mat. To ensure success as an Asphalt Labourer, you should be physically fit and be able to work long hours in all weather conditions. Asphalt Labourers are often required to work over weekends, on public holidays, and at night. Asphalt is a material commonly used to surface roadways, driveways and parking lots. Crew members must operate machines to melt the asphalt, spread it and then smooth it.
