Sreekumran Thampi composed and M S Baburaj gave music to the song 'Jeevitheswarikekuvanoru premalekhanmezhuthi ragapournami meghapaliyil ganamezhuthum ravil' for the movie 'Ladies Hostel'. The song was sung by K J Yesudas. Under the banner of Rekha Cine Art, Dr. Balakrishnan produced the Malayalam movie,' Ladies Hostel'. Ladies Hostel is Hariharan's first venture. The film was distributed by Vimla Release and was released on 29th June 1973. Starring Prem Nazir, K.P. Ummer, Bahadur, Jayabharathi and Sujatha.
