"Jeevithamoru Chumadu Vandi" is a song sung by K. J. Yesudas for the movie Avalalpam Vaikippoyi. Yesudas is one of the most popular singers in Malayalam and in India, who is popularly known as 'Dassettan' and called as 'Ganagandharvan' by the audience. It is a 1971 Indian Malayalam-language film, directed by John Sankaramangalam and produced by United Producers. The film stars Prem Nazir, Sheela, Jayabharathi and Adoor Bhasi in the lead roles. The music was composed by G. Devarajan and the lyrics were written by Vayalar Ramavarma. G. Devarajan, also known as Devarajan master or Paravoor Govindan Devarajan, was an accomplished Indian music composer and carnatic vocalist.
ജീവിതമൊരു ചുമടു വണ്ടി എന്ന ഗാനം കെ.ജെ.യേശുദാസ് അവളൽപം വൈകിപ്പോയി എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് വേണ്ടി പാടിയതാണ്. മലയാളത്തിലെയും ഇന്ത്യയിലെയും ഏറ്റവും ജനപ്രിയ ഗായകരിൽ ഒരാളാണ് യേശുദാസ്, 'ദാസേട്ടന്' എന്ന് വിളിക്കപ്പെടുകയും പ്രേക്ഷകർ 'ഗാനഗന്ധർവൻ' എന്ന് വിളിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ജോൺ ശങ്കരമംഗലം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് യുണൈറ്റഡ് പ്രൊഡ്യൂസേഴ്സ് നിർമ്മിച്ച 1971 ലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാളം ഭാഷാ ചിത്രമാണിത്. പ്രേം നസീർ, ഷീല, ജയഭാരതി, അടൂർ ഭാസി എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. വയലാർ രാമവർമ എഴുതിയ വരികൾക്ക് സംഗീതം നൽകിയത് ജി.ദേവരാജനാണ്. ദേവരാജൻ മാസ്റ്റർ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പറവൂർ ഗോവിന്ദൻ ദേവരാജൻ എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ജി. ദേവരാജൻ ഒരു പ്രഗത്ഭനായ ഇന്ത്യൻ സംഗീതസംവിധായകനും കർണാടക ഗായകനുമായിരുന്നു.
