Presentations | English

ISO 9001 is a standard that defines the requirements for a Quality Management System (QMS). It helps businesses and organizations to be established as more efficient and also to improve customer satisfaction. ISO 9001 primarily focuses on meeting customer requirements and strive to exceed customer expectations. ISO 9001 envisages how an organization can meet the requirements of its customers as well as its stakeholders. ISO 9001 defines the criteria for a Quality Management System that can be audited against, with the goal of voluntary compliance or to become 3rd party registered. As a matter of fact, there are over one million companies and organizations in over 170 countries certified to ISO 9001. All the requirements of ISO 9001 are generic and are intended to be applicable to any organization, regardless of its type or size, or the products and services it provides. ISO has defined its standards based solely on seven quality management principles namely Customer focus, Leadership, Customer focus, Engagement of people, Process approach, Improvement, Evidence-based decision making and Relationship management.
