The film actors Madhu, Sheela, Adoor Bhasi and Muthukulam Raghavan Pillai were the actors who played the lead character roles. This movie was directed by K S Sethumadhavan.
പിന്നണി ഗായകൻ ജി വേണുഗോപാൽ ആലപിച്ച ഗാനമാണ് “ഇഷ്ടപ്രാണേശ്വരി നിന്റെ". ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ സംഗീതം സംഗീത സംവിധായകൻ ജി.ദേവരാജനും ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ വരികൾ എഴുതിയത് വയലാർ രാമവർമയുമാണ്. 1973-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ചുക്കു എന്ന മലയാളം ചിത്രത്തിന് വേണ്ടിയാണ് ഈ ഗാനം ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയത്. ചലച്ചിത്ര അഭിനേതാക്കളായ മധു, ഷീല, അടൂർ ഭാസി, മുതുകുളം രാഘവൻ പിള്ള എന്നിവർ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച അഭിനേതാക്കളായിരുന്നു. കെ എസ് സേതുമാധവൻ ആണ് ഈ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത്.
