“Makane Ninakku Vendi” is a 1971 Indian Malayalam language film, directed by E. N. Balakrishnan. The film stars Prem Nazir, Sheela, Kaviyoor Ponnamma and Adoor Bhasi in the lead roles. The film had musical score done G. Devarajan. “Irunooru Pournami Chandrikakal…” is a song starring Prem Nazir and Sheela. To the voice of K. J. Yesudas both the actors tune in with the rhythm. The lyrics were written by Vayalar Ramavarma and it celebrates the love between the couples. ‘Chandrika’ means moon. The beloved’s face is being compared to not one but with two hundred moons. Each line celebrates the feminine beauty of his beloved. This song is indeed a love song where the multi – faceted phases of love can be seen. The entire song sequence is shot amongst the wild nature with the couple bathed in love enjoying each other’s company.

N. ബാലകൃഷ്ണൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് 1971-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാളം ഭാഷാ ചിത്രമാണ് “മകനേ നിനക്കു വേണ്ടി”. പ്രേം നസീർ, ഷീല, കവിയൂർ പൊന്നമ്മ, അടൂർ ഭാസി എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ചിത്രത്തിന് സംഗീതം നൽകിയത് ജി. ദേവരാജനാണ്. പ്രേം നസീറും ഷീലയും അഭിനയിച്ച ഗാനമാണ് “ഇരുനൂറു പൗർണമി ചന്ദ്രികകൾ...”. യേശുദാസിന്റെ ശബ്ദത്തിന് രണ്ട് അഭിനേതാക്കളും താളത്തിനൊത്ത് ട്യൂൺ ചെയ്തു. ദമ്പതികൾ തമ്മിലുള്ള പ്രണയത്തെ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്ന വരികൾ വയലാർ രാമവർമ്മയാണ് എഴുതിയത്. ‘ചന്ദ്രിക’ എന്നാൽ ചന്ദ്രൻ. പ്രിയതമയുടെ മുഖം ഒന്നല്ല, ഇരുന്നൂറ് ഉപഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടാണ് ഉപമിക്കുന്നത്. ഓരോ വരിയും തന്റെ പ്രിയപ്പെട സ്ത്രീ സൗന്ദര്യത്തെ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. പ്രണയത്തിന്റെ ബഹുമുഖ ഘട്ടങ്ങൾ കാണാൻ കഴിയുന്ന ഒരു പ്രണയഗാനമാണ് ഈ ഗാനം. പ്രണയത്തിൽ കുളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ദമ്പതികൾ പരസ്പരം സഹവാസം ആസ്വദിക്കുന്ന കാട്ടുപ്രകൃതിക്കിടയിലാണ് ഗാനരംഗം മുഴുവൻ ചിത്രീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
