Presentations | English

"The present Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Information Technology and a member of the Lok Sabha from the year 2009, Shashi Tharoor is a renowned and critically acclaimed writer, Indian politician and former international diplomat. An individual with many feathers to his cap, Tharoor invented the term ‘preponed’ while he was still completing his graduation. An exemplary writer and literary figure, Tharoor began his relationship with writing at the tender age of 6 and went on to publish his first-ever story at the age of 10. Born in London on the 9th of March in 1956, Sashi Tharoor was brought up in India, where he did his graduation from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. He then pursued an MA, MALD and PhD in International Relations and Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University. He also merged as the then youngest individual to have received an honour from the school of law itself (at the age of just 22 years)."
