Born in Ottawa, Canada, on the 25th of December, 1971, Justin Pierre James Trudeau is a Canadian politician and the 23rd and present Prime Minister of Canada. He is also the leader of the Liberal Party in the year 2013. Several major political initiatives and reforms came into being immediately after being elected the Prime Minister in 2015, such as the government legalising recreational marijuana through the Cannabis Act; establishing federal carbon tax and also attempting Senate appointment reform by establishing the Independent Advisory Board for Senate Appointments. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is the son of the former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau and the Canadian author and actress Margaret Sinclair, both of whom are separated since 1977.
