Have you ever thought of an education system that is used for the training to achieve Cultural Competence? Well, it is known as Intercultural or cross-cultural education. Cultural competence, also known as Intercultural Competence, is a range of cognitive, affective, and behavioral skills that lead to effective and appropriate communication with people of other cultures. Intercultural competency can be divided into four dimensions which are intercultural knowledge, intercultural attitude, intercultural skill and intercultural awareness. Intercultural competence gives the opportunity to interact and communicate with people from different cultures in a respectful and effective way. It is the bridge between diversity and inclusion and is key to creating welcoming learning environments. In the current scenario we cannot exist without recognizing diverse identities and making intentional steps to be inclusive to people of varying backgrounds.
